The module uses a stiff zipper to allow for exchanging the ballistic plates inside. This same procedure is performed after the soft armor’s expiration date.
For armor inserts, it is officially 5 years. For the module itself, there is a 1-year warranty.
The date is calculated from the manufacturing label on the back of the insert. While good maintenance and handling can preserve the plate ballistic capabilities for longer, we will only guarantee five years from manufacturing.
The rest of the module is made from extremely durable materials. Due to the tasks that you might encounter when using it the warranty is for one year. But, with good maintenance, it can last for a very long time.
This product has been independently tested in NIJ-accredited laboratories according to the NIJ Standard 0101.06, as well as certified laboratories according to NATO STANAG 2920 (V50 fragmentation) and DSTU 8782:2018 against Soviet/Russian ammunition.
